Despite centuries of scientific evidence to the contrary, there are still those who believe that the Earth is flat, rather than a sphere. This theory has gained traction in recent years, with the rise of social media and the ability for like-minded individuals to connect and share their beliefs. Flat Earth proponents often point to supposed inconsistencies in NASA's photographs and videos of Earth from space, as well as their own experiments and observations. However, the overwhelming consensus among scientists is that the Earth is indeed round, and the flat Earth theory is dismissed as pseudoscience.

The idea of a secret society of elites controlling world events is a common theme in conspiracy theories, and the Illuminati is often at the center of these claims. According to believers, this shadowy group is working to establish a "New World Order" in which they will have complete control over the global population. While the Illuminati did exist as a real organization in the 18th century, there is no evidence to suggest that they have continued to operate in secret for centuries or that they have any influence on modern-day events.

The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, have spawned numerous conspiracy theories, with some suggesting that the US government had prior knowledge of the attacks or even orchestrated them as a pretext for war in the Middle East. These theories often focus on the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7, which was not hit by a plane but still fell in a manner similar to a controlled demolition. However, multiple investigations and reports have concluded that the building's collapse was due to fire damage and structural failure, and there is no credible evidence to support the "inside job" theory.

One of the most infamous conspiracy theories in history surrounds the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963. The official story, as outlined by the Warren Commission, is that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in sh**ting the president from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository. However, many conspiracy theorists believe that there was a larger plot at play, involving multiple sh**ters, the CIA, the Mafia, or even the Soviet Union. The release of previously classified documents in recent years has only added fuel to the fire, with some suggesting that the government is still withholding information about the assassination.

The Apollo moon landing in 1969 is another event that has been the subject of intense conspiracy theorizing. Some believe that the entire mission was staged by NASA and the US government, in an effort to win the space race against the Soviet Union. Proponents of this theory point to supposed anomalies in the footage and photographs from the mission, as well as the fact that no other country has successfully landed a human on the moon since. However, the vast majority of experts and scientists dismiss these claims as baseless, citing the overwhelming evidence that the moon landing was real.
